The fixture for the inaugural NAB AFL Women's Season has today been released.

The Brisbane Lions Women's Team will start their 2017 campaign on Sunday February 5, playing their first ever game against the Melbourne Demons at Casey Fields.

The Lions will then make the journey west to play Fremantle at Fremantle Oval, before having their first home game against Collingwood at the South Pine Sports Complex in Brendale.

The Lions will then play the GWS GIANTS at home, before travelling south to play the Adelaide Crows at Norwood Oval.

The final two Rounds will see the Lions play the Western Bulldogs (home), then Carlton (away).

Should the Lions qualify for the NAB AFL Women's Grand Final, they would play the following week on the Saturday during Round 1 of the AFL Season (March 25).

The Lions will play three games at home (South Pine Sports Complex), and four games away.

They will play three Saturday day games, one Saturday night game, and three Sunday day games.

The Lions' Saturday night game against the Adelaide Crows (Round 5) will be televised on Channel 7, and all other games will be televised on Foxtel.

The AFL will also broadcast all AFL Women's matches live on the Official AFL Live App.
