Jake Barrett will make his debut for the Brisbane Lions against the Gold Coast SUNS in Saturday's QClash.
Barrett was upgraded to the senior list today in place of injured defender Sam Skinner.
The 21-year-old who was drafted to the GIANTS in 2013, is a tough midfielder with great work-rate and endurance.
Despite only playing one senior match in his career, he was integral in GWS’ NEAFL victory over the Swans in September.
At season’s end, Barrett was drafted by the Lions as a free agent after being delisted by the GIANTS.
Dayne Beams will Captain the Lions officially for the first time on Saturday in a side that is relatively unchanged to the JLT Series 3 team.
