The Brisbane Lions' fourth AFLW Draft pick (31st overall), Kalinda Howarth has been earmarked as one to watch in the upcoming 2018 AFLW season.

Howarth, a lightly framed, medium-sized forward, is strong overhead and can evade opposition skilfully. Paired with clean hands and a safe boot, she can be damaging in the forward line.

At just 17 years old and 35 metres out, Howarth kicked the winning goal for the Coolangatta Bluebirds to claim the 2016 QWAFL premiership.

In 2017, she was named in the All-Australian under 18 team in the half forward line, after starring for Queensland at the National under 18 Championships.
