Number one draft pick Cam Rayner will make his AFL debut for the Brisbane Lions on Saturday against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.

Rayner has had an impressive pre-season and tallied 10 tackles and 13 disposals in the last JLT Series hit-out against the Gold Coast Suns to book his place in the team. The 18-year-old will slot into the forward line.

Luke Hodge and Charlie Cameron are both named to make their Club debuts, with Hodge selected at half-back and Cameron in the forward pocket.

Tom Bell, Allen Christensen and Mitch Robinson - who all missed the majority of the 2017 season through injury - will make their returns this weekend.

Saturday will be Robinson's 150th AFL game and 50th for the Lions. Robinson made his debut in 2009 for Carlton before being traded to the Lions prior to the 2015 season.

Bell and Christensen will start on the interchange bench and both are likely to spend time rotating through the midfield and forward line.

14 of the 22 players who played against North Melbourne in the final round of last season are named again. Jarrod Berry and Eric Hipwood didn't play in that match due to injury, along with the three new faces and three returning players.

Bounce is at 3.35pm AEDT (2.35pm AEST) on Saturday, March 24.
