Jessy Keeffe and Ruby Blair will be back for the Brisbane Lions ALFW side in 2019 after the pair signed with the Club during the free agency period.

Keeffe and Blair were both drafted to the Lions last year and are yet to make their senior debuts.

Lions AFLW CEO Breanna Brock said the coaching staff are looking forward to continuing the pair’s development.

“They both show potential and we want to continue to develop and work with them,” Brock said.

Keeffe and Blair are both part of the Lions' Winter Series training squad.

The team will play their first game against the GWS Giants (South) in Sydney this weekend.

Keeffe has been named in the ruck, while Blair will miss this game due to injury.

Seventeen of the Lions’ recent re-signings will join Keeffe on the field.

Erica Fowler, who plays for Yeronga South Brisbane in the QWAFL league, has been named in the team. Three U18 Queensland players, Jacqui Yorston, Jesse Wardlaw and Nat Grider, have also been named.
