Senior Coach Chris Fagan singled out Josh Walker's strong performance in his post-match press conference, with Walker grabbing a game-high four contested marks and collecting 15 disposals.

Ryan Bastinac snatched the lead for the Lions late in the game with two goals, one of which was a brilliant snap from the pocket after an audacious one-handed mark.

Jarrod Berry was excellent after a week off, while Stef Martin was strong in the ruck and made 43 hit outs.
