The Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former Brisbane Lions Director Ken Levy.

Mr. Levy, who passed away yesterday, was a third generation Fitzroy supporter, whose family had been involved with the Club in some capacity since 1885. He was a foundation member of ‘The Pride’ coterie in 1976, and twice served on Fitzroy’s Board (1980-84 and again from 1991-94).

Following the 1996 merger, he was appointed as one of three Victorian-based Directors on the Brisbane Lions’ Board, and served until June 2001.

He maintained his love for the Club as a part of Chairman’s Circle in Victoria, and regularly attended events – including last year’s Jonathan Brown tribute luncheon at Crown.

The Club would like to wish its sincere condolences to Levy’s family and friends.
