All 16 AFL Clubs will meet in Melbourne today as Trade Week officially commences.
In a week fuelled by hype and speculation, a number of high profile names are already believed to be looking for a new home.
The Lions don’t seem to be entering the exchange period as one of the major players, but new Senior Coach Michael Voss won’t be ruling the Club out of anything.
“We’ll go in with a suck it and see approach,” Voss said to The Courier Mail last Friday.”
“We don’t have a draft only policy. What we are interested in is the best players that are available. If that means trading, we are prepared to trade.”
“But from my point of view we don’t have any trades in mind. What happens generally with trades is a player or club approaches you and if you see an opportunity, you act on it.”
