The Brisbane Lions will be looking to build towards further success in Season 7 and to help them, have recruited civil construction company BMD as their new Co-Major Partner.

A proud partner of the Club for over a decade, BMD’s latest partnership with the Lions will see them take pride of place on the front of the AFLW guernsey for at least the next three seasons.

The construction group has already played a vital role in the construction of the Club’s new home, Brighton Homes Arena, due to be completed later this year.

As Queensland’s largest privately owned civil construction and engineering company, BMD Group Director and Chief Executive Officer, Scott Power said that they are excited to support the AFLW program as Co-Major Partner.

“BMD is thrilled to be the major co-partner of the Brisbane Lions AFLW team and continue as major support partner of the Brisbane Lions men’s team.

“The inclusion of women in the construction and engineering industry remains a key focus for our business, so we feel that this partnership with Brisbane Lions as co-major partners of their women’s is a fantastic alignment of our shared vision and objective to improve participation for women in our respective industries, both of which are currently underrepresented.”

Head of Women’s Football Breeanna Brock said that it’s fantastic to have BMD on board with the Club’s AFLW program.

“BMD have been a valued partner of the Club for a long time and we’re thrilled to have them come on board as our AFLW Co-Major Partner for the next three seasons,” Brock said.

“They have already played such a big part in bringing our new home out at Springfield to life through their work and the Lions Legacy project.

“To now have them on the front of our guernsey is really exciting and it gives us an opportunity to share our longstanding relationship with BMD with our members and fans.
