The Brisbane Lions make up two thirds of the nominees for Mark of the Year this week, with both Dan McStay and Mitch Robinson nominated for their efforts against Hawthorn on Saturday at home

They’re the first Lions nominees since Lincoln McCarthy’s screamer in Round 3 against Port Adelaide.

McStay leapt to great heights in the first quarter, taking a grab over four players, including two of his teammates.

While Robinson took one of the best marks of his career when he showed no fear flying for the ball over Hawthorn’s Tom Scully and teammate Lewis Taylor late in the fourth quarter. Robinson’s body went past the vertical in his determination to claim the ball.
