The 1-4 years returned to the training track earlier this week, officially kicking off pre-season for the Brisbane Lions.

Running machine, Harry Sharp was at the front of the pack for the conditioning legs and looks to be in good shape, while best mate, Kai Lohmann also ran strongly.

While the 5+ year players aren't due back until next week, there were plenty of senior figures getting some extra sessions in.

Recruit, Josh Dunkley was quick to get around his new teammates, joining the 1-4 years for week one of pre-season, while Vice-Captain, Harris Andrews was also a familiar face around the track.

Impressively, Friday mornings session saw a near-full squad hit the track with the likes of Charlie Cameron, Joe Daniher, Dayne Zorko and Daniel Rich all taking part in training.

Top draft pick, Will Ashcroft has hit the ground running while fellow father-son selection Jaspa Fletcher was restricted to lighter duties as he recovers from injury.

The entire list is due back next week, which will see the arrival of prized Hawthorn recruit, Jack Gunston and former Bomber, Conor McKenna.
