Question: Hey Ash, are there any rev heads in the team? Some real car enthusiasts?

Ryan Harwood’s a bit of a rev-head. He’s going to start a bikie gang called the Brisbane Rattlesnakes. Keep an eye out for them on their Specialized racing bikes, cruising the streets.

Question: Hey Ash, who do you reckon in the club is a "nerd"? like someone who watches star trek and has a bit of trouble with the ladies?

We do have a nerd, that’s Justin Clarke. He is very very smart. If anyone can help him out, let me know.

Question: Hey Ash! As a Melbourne based fan I'm restricted to a few games a year .. One thing I noticed vs Essendon at Etihad was the warm up was; what seemed low intensity as opposed to the Bombers being high intensity... Do you believe intensity during warm ups has any correlation with the way you start a game?

I don’t think the intensity was low. We always try to stay relaxed in the warmup and keep the intensity for when we get back out on the ground. We didn’t play well there last time so we’ll change a few things up.

Question: Hey Ash! Just a quick question, Which (personally) is the tougher ask - beating Adelaide at AAMI or the Eagles at Patersons?

I reckon the Eagles at Patersons. They’re always pretty tough there. We’ll find out in July!

Name: Rabbit
Suburb: Yeronga
State: Qld
Question: Hey Ash I'm a coach at Yeronga and I love the way you have transformed from Forward to Defender. I'm trying to get one of my players (Flash) to play the same role. Any advice..??

Hi Rabbit. I’ve heard there’s a good coach out at Yeronga Devils. I’ve gone to watch them play every now and then and trying to get Flash to play the same role as me - my best advice would be to give up on him. I’ve seen the way he plays, it’s all about himself. You can’t have selfish players in the backline so it’s either keep him forward or send him back to the twos to learn to play a bit of team footy.

Question: Who do you think would win in a fight between a 'real' lion and tiger? Do you think either could beat a hippopotamus?

I reckon the lion would win. Don’t know about the hippo Johnny. What makes you say that?

Name: Macca
Suburb: Jimboomba
State: QLD
Question: Hey Ash, was wondering how I could go about sending in a Lion's jumper and getting it signed? I have two signings on it so far but would love to get the rest of the team to as well. Keep up the good footy and say hi to the other guys for me!

Hey Macca. The best way to get something signed is to come along to an open training session. We have one pretty much every week. Don’t send it in to the Club - come along and say hi and we’ll all sign it for you!

Question: ASH, what should a twelve year like me should do so I can get fit and reach the AFL like you did?

At your age it’s more about having fun and working on your skills. The way I got fit when I was your age was getting out there at school on the oval at recess and lunch. Even when I got home, me and my brothers would go down to the park and have shots on goal and instead of walking to the footy, jog to the footy. Every now and then, go for a run. Don’t just be sitting on the couch watching TV - there will be plenty of time for that if you make in the AFL when you retire! That’d be my advice.

Name: Nicholas L
Suburb: Melbourne
State: Victoria
Question: Hi Ash can u ask Daniel Rich to cut his hair, it’s getting too long.

I would Nicholas, but he’s preparing for a fancy dress party where he’s going dressed as Thor. He’s looking a bit like him now - I watched the new Avengers movie the other day and he’s a dead ringer. So we might have to leave the hair. His girlfriend likes it too so I reckon we’re no chance at getting it cut.
