Brisbane Lions off-season recruit Shanae Davison will miss up to six weeks with a wrist fracture following Sunday’s AFLW season opener with North Melbourne.

Davison sustained the injury to her right wrist following a contest during the opening quarter and underwent surgery on Monday afternoon.

Defender Shannon Campbell suffered a head knock as a result of a tackle late in the fourth term, but was cleared of any concussive symptoms post-game and will be available to play this weekend.

Lions draftee Evie Long will also be available against Melbourne on Saturday after recovering from a broken nose, while Dee Heslop continues to improve as she rehabs her calf strain.

The Lions will travel to Melbourne to take on Melbourne on Saturday 7 September with the bounce from 11:05am at Casey Fields.
