The Brisbane Lions strong start to the Coates Talent League season has seen three players selected in the Allies squad to compete in the 2025 Marsh AFL National Championships.

Daniel Annable, Isaac Waller and Harrison Bridge were all named in the squad following their impressive performances for the Youi Brisbane Lions Academy.

Annable, a hard-working midfielder known for his high work rate and contested ball-winning abilities, has caught the eye of many with his form in 2025.

He has also made a name for himself as a clean and tough player at the contest who can get the ball from the inside out through quick and creative hands.

As an underage under-18 last season, Annable averaged 19.5 disposals for the Allies in 2024 AFL National Championships and also captained the AFL Academy side this year.

Bridge is a very composed defender who intercepts exceptionally well and uses his precise left foot kicking to set up his team from defence.

Being part of the Youi Lions Academy over the last two season, Bridge has continued to show improvement year on year and is now impacting the scoreboard from the back half.

Waller, a highly touted ruck, loves the contest and is a competitive beast who loves to run and jump at big packs.

Another of the Lions talls who spends time forward and continues to impact the scoreboard.

Head coach of the Youi Lions Academy boys, Mitch Hahn, has also been selected to lead the coaching staff for the carnival.

The Allies 2025 Marsh AFL National Championship campaign kicks off on June 1 against South Australia in New South Wales.
