The Brisbane Lions VFL side will welcome back Tom Doedee and Bruce Reville among five changes to its side ahead of their Round 9 clash with Box Hill.

The Lions, fresh off a Round 8 bye, travel to Box Hill Oval to take on the Hawks. 

Doedee returns after being managed in the Lions last VFL outing against North Melbourne in Round 7 while Reville has recovered from a hamstring injury which has kept him out of action since Round 6. 

Shadeau Brain has overcome a hamstring issue which left him unavailable for the Lions 27-point win over the Roos in their last outing.

Conor McKenna will play his fourth game at VFL level this year after Deven Robertson was elevated to the AFL side.

Curtis McCarthy has also been cleared to play after entering concussion protocols in Round 5 following the Lions win over Sandringham. 

VFL -listed Ben Thomas along with Youi Lions Academy members, Ryan Gilder and Harrison Ronchi have been omitted for the Lions trip to Box Hill Oval.
