Youi Brisbane Lions Academy product Dan Annable has been rewarded for his strong performance at the 2025 Marsh AFL National Championship with selection in the 2025 U18 All-Australian boys side.
Annable, a hard-working midfielder and forward, used his strong work rate and contested ball-winning ability to impact games.
The Youi Lions Academy member was at his dominant best for the Allies against both South Australia and Western Australia.
Selected as a Rover, Annable averaged 24.8 disposals across his four matches, with 4.3 clearances and 3.8 tackles.
Annable topped off a great underaged career after earlier in the year captaining the Australian U18 team in a match against Richmond’s VFL side, where he won the best player medal.
The 18-year-old also finished second the Larke Medal voting tied with Oliver Greeves from Victoria Metro on 17 votes, one behind winner, Dyson Sharp from South Australia.
Annable, a member of the Marsh AFL National Academy has represented the Lions at VFL level on three occasions, averaging 21.7 disposals and booting two goals.
