White, who played 268 games (1995-2008) for Fremantle and Melbourne, was awarded All Australian Honours in 2004, further strengthens Brisbane’s AFLW coaching list ahead of the 2026 season.
Brisbane Lions General Manager, AFLW, Danielle Smith said White’s experience and football knowledge makes him an outstanding addition to the program.
“Jeff is well known at the Lions having been on board as ruck coach in 2025,” Smith said.
“He has a proven ability to connect with our athletes, and we’re excited to welcome him into the Brisbane Lions AFLW program, more formally this season.”
White said he was excited to expand his role at Brighton Homes Arena in 2026.
“The Lions have built an exceptional AFLW program and I’m looking forward to building on the work I did with the group last year,” White said.
“We have such a talented playing group, a terrific facility and an experienced coaching panel, so I can’t wait for pre-season to get underway.”
White’s appointment finalises Coach Craig Starcevich’s coaching list with Phil Lovett and Paul Henriksen continuing as AFLW assistant coaches.
