The Brisbane Lions are mourning the loss of former Fitzroy player Graham Goninon, who passed away last week after celebrating his 81st birthday earlier this month.

Recruited from Reservoir, Goninon played four senior VFL matches with Fitzroy from 1963-65

He was the 800th player to represent the Club in a senior VFL/AFL match and wore the #16 (3 games) and #48 guernsey (1 game) throughout his time at Fitzroy.

The Club extends its deepest condolences to Goninon’s family and friends at this difficult time.
