Brisbane Lions coach Craig Starcevich said the news was devastating for both Lacy and the playing group.
“We are all deeply disappointed for Liv. She has slotted into the group so well, so to see her miss this season is upsetting," Starcevich said.
"Our priority now is to support Liv throughout her rehabilitation process, and we’ll be with her every step of the way.”
Lacy joined the Lions from Bendigo as a 2025 Telstra AFLW Draft pick and has quickly become a valued member of the AFLW group.
The Club will provide further updates on Lacy's recovery when appropriate.
