Graham, a 2025 draftee, will play her first AFLW game after joining the Lions as one of the Club’s newest emerging talents. The midfielder has clean ball use, strong football IQ, endurance and defensive pressure.

Williamson, who joined Brisbane from Collingwood during the 2025 AFLW Trade Period, will also pull on the maroon, blue and gold for the first time. The 21-year-old brings AFLW experience to the Lions, having previously played at Essendon before spending the 2025 season with Collingwood.

Brisbane Lions AFLW Senior Coach, Craig Starcevich said the pair had earned their opportunity through a strong pre-season and their commitment to the team’s standards.

“From the minute Marlo has arrived at the club, the way she has applied herself, along with the maturity and composure she has shown in games, has been outstanding."

"We’re really excited about what she can bring to the group," Starcevich said.

Lily-Rose has settled into the group really well and brings valuable AFLW experience, competitiveness and energy. We’re excited for both players and their families ahead of what will be a special moment for them and the Club.”

The Lions will open their 2026 NAB AFLW Season against Essendon at Windy Hill on Sunday, 16 August at 12:35pm AEST.
