The Round 8 match kicks off at 5.05pm on Saturday 3 October, with gates opening at 4pm.
The QClash will be the eighth meeting between the Lions and Suns, with Brisbane unbeaten in the rivalry.
Lions Chief Executive, Sam Graham said the QClash was a great opportunity to celebrate with the club’s local supporters.
“The Springfield and Ipswich area is an important part of the Lions community, and we’re excited to give local fans the chance to enjoy a great afternoon of AFLW action on us and the chance to get up close to our three AFL Premiership Cups,” Mr Graham said.
“Our supporters have been with us every step of the way, so bringing the three premiership cups back to Brighton Homes Arena is a special opportunity to share that success and thank them for their incredible support.”
Lions AFLW senior coach Craig Starcevich said the team was looking forward to another QClash.
“The QClash is always a round we circle on our calendar. There’s a genuine rivalry between us and the Gold Coast Suns, and we can’t wait to get out there on Saturday,” Starcevich said.
“The men’s success last week has lifted the energy around the club, and we’re excited for fans to enjoy a great game of AFLW footy and get a photo with the three cups.
“We’re also pleased Ipswich residents can experience an AFLW game for free. It’s a great way to give back to our community.”
