The Brisbane Lions have traded Tom Cutler and Pick No. 64 to Essendon in return for a future third round selection and Pick No. 72.

Cutler arrived at the Lions with Pick No. 33 at the 2013 AFL National Draft. In his six years at the Club he has played 66 games and kicked 32 goals.

In 2019 the 24-year-old played three AFL games after battling injury for most of the year.

General Manager of Football David Noble thanked Cutler for his contribution to the Club.

“We would like to thank Tom for everything he has done for our Club,” Noble said.

“He’s a professional footballer and great person, we wish him nothing but the best at Essendon.”
