Injury Update

Brisbane Lions defender Zac Bailey is expected to miss the next four to six weeks of the season due to a hamstring injury suffered in Saturday night’s win against Port Adelaide.

The 19-year-old came off in the fourth quarter and did not return for the remainder of the match.

General Manager of Football said tests yesterday revealed the injury was worse than first anticipated.

“It’s disappointing that Zac has had a little hiccup with this hamstring injury as he had looked quite settled in the backline,” Noble said.

“He will work hard in his rehab to get back playing as soon as he can.”
