Simon Black is set to make his return to senior football this Saturday when the Brisbane Lions face the West Coast Eagles at the Gabba.

Black has been named in the Lions side for the first time this season following a string of impressive performances in the NEAFL with the Brisbane Lions Reserves. Arguably the club’s most decorated player, Saturday’s game will be number 315 for Black, who made his debut in Round 1, 1998.

Jordan Lisle will also make his first appearance for the Lions in 2013 after being named on the forward line. Lisle comes into the side having kicked 28 goals in 6 matches for the Lions Reserves.

Andrew Raines is the other addition for the Lions who have omitted Aaron Cornelius, Marco Paparone and Billy Longer. The Eagle’s clash will be Raines’ 50th game for the club after coming to the Lions from Richmond during the 2009 trade period.
