THE BRISBANE Lions have suffered a blow before their clash with Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium with the late withdrawal of ruckman Jamie Charman.

Wayde Mills has come into the Lions team for Charman, whose absence will place enormous responsibility on the young shoulders of Matthew Leuenberger.

He will have to face the imposing duo of All-Australian Brendon Lade and Dean Brogan in the ruck.
