Brisbane Lions GM of Football, David Noble, has accepted the role of Senior Coach with the North Melbourne Kangaroos, effective immediately.

Noble came to the Lions from the Crows in 2016 and was part of an administration that saw Chris Fagan recruited to the job of Senior Coach.

Having sat on the Club Executive, Noble has been a significant contributor to the Club’s recent growth and positive culture at both a Football and Commercial level.

Brisbane CEO, Greg Swann, said that while the Club would miss Nobes, they were really happy and proud of his appointment to Senior Coach.

“Nobes has been a great contributor to our Football Club over the past 4 years and we are thankful for his service.” he said.

“It’s a credit to him and his abilities that he has now been appointed to a Head Coach role in the AFL.

“We wish him all the best in his new role and look forward to seeing the impact he has down at the Kangaroos”.
