One of the competition’s most exciting talents, Hugh McCluggage has transformed his game in the past two seasons to become a bona fide midfielder. Beginning his career on the wing, McCluggage has since created a formidable partnership with two-time Brownlow medallist Lachie Neale and star Josh Dunkley. At only 25 years old, McCluggage has been named in four All-Australian squads between 2019-2022. The South Warrnambool junior finished third in the Merritt-Murray Medal at the Lions Club Champion in 2023, his fifth consecutive top three finish.
