A hybrid defender, Jaxon Prior has impressed at AFL level since his debut in 2021. With a booming left boot and his ability to play as a medium sized, intercept defender, Prior has played key roles in the Lions defence. Despite only playing five senior games in 2023, Prior is often called upon for both tall and small match ups in opposing forward lines. Prior was a strong performer at VFL level for the Lions last season and will be pressing his case for senior selection in 2024 demonstrating Brisbane’s depth across the park.
