The Brisbane Lions have made five changes ahead of QClash 6 against the Gold Coast Suns on Saturday at the Gabba.
Rohan Bewick, Josh Green, Daniel Merrett, Andrew Raines, and Sam Mayes have all been named in the Lions' side for the Club’s sixth meeting with Queensland rivals, the Gold Coast Suns.
Simon Black will be a notable absentee after sustaining a groin injury, while Sam Docherty will also miss due to a back injury. Jordan Lisle, Elliot Yeo and James Polkinghorne have been omitted.
Merrett comes back into the side after he was a late withdrawal for last weekend’s clash with the Hawks, while Josh Green returns on the back of a four goals haul in the NEAFL last week.
The player judged best afield by a panel of independent experts during QClash 6 will be awarded the Marcus Ashcroft Medal.
The Lions and the Suns will do battle in QClash 6 at 4.40pm Saturday at the Gabba.
