Two Brisbane Lions Women's players were named in the QWAFL Team of the Year at the AFLQ Grogan Medal Awards Night on Sunday.

Marquee Player Tayla Harris was named on the Half Forward Flank after an impressive year for Zillmere, while Emma Zielke was named as a Follower.

Taking out the 2016 QWAFL Best and Fairest was Coolangatta Tweed's Leah Kaslar and Yeronga's Samantha Virgo.
