The Brisbane Lions Women’s Team has arrived with a vengeance – will you be there to cheer them on at the first home game on Saturday, February 18?
There has been an overwhelming response to the Lions’ win over Melbourne last weekend, with a surge in inquiries from supporters about the historic opening AFLW game on Queensland soil at the South Pine Sports Complex at Brendale.
With free entry and 50,000 fans attending Round 1 of the AFLW competition, the Lions want to know how many fans plan to attend the game on Saturday week to ensure catering and facilities are appropriate.
