Brisbane Lions midfielder Claye Beams will face-off with older brother, Dayne, after being recalled to the Lions line-up to face Collingwood on Saturday night at the MCG.

Beams, who was omitted from the Lions team last weekend, returns to the side in place of young midfielder Nick Robertson (omitted).

The Beams brothers are set to face-off in what will be a significant milestone for Lions Vice-Captain, Tom Rockliff.

Rockliff will line-up for his 100th senior AFL game, almost five years to the day after making his debut against the same opponent at the same venue.

The milestone is a well-deserved one for the 24-year-old midfielder, who was originally overlooked in the 2008 National Draft.

Rockliff has developed into one of the competitions elite midfielders, averaging a career-best 31.3 disposals a game in 2014.He also leads the AFL in tackles (9.1 per game), and is ranked 7th in contested possessions (13.7 per game) across the entire competition.

He and the rest of his teammates will play under lights at the MCG for the first time in almost three years.

The Lions haven’t played a night match at the ”home of football” since Round 22 of 2011.

Coincidentally, Collingwood were also the Lions’ opponents on this occasion.

The Lions take on Collingwood at the MCG, Saturday night at 7.40pm.
