Protein Pancakes

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so you really need to make sure you give your body what it needs first thing in the morning.

But you also want something that tastes good, so these protein pancakes are pretty popular at my place. In fact, I whipped some up only last Sunday.

You can also vary up the toppings a bit depending on your tastes, but I usually go for a mixture of fresh berries and yoghurt.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes

What you need
2 scoops of vanilla protein powder (I use Vitalstrength WPI+)
1 egg
¾ cup plain flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup almond milk

Directions
- Add all the ingredients listed above into a bowl and mix thoroughly (ged rid of all the lumps) until you have a smooth batter.
- Pour a portion of the mixture (I’ll leave it up to you how big you want your pancakes) into a frying pan, and fry on a medium heat until bubbles start to appear on the top. This usually takes a couple of minutes.
- Flip the pancake over and brown on the other side. Now you’re done!
