The Brisbane Lions have recalled three players to their side to take on Geelong at Simonds Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Midfielder Brent Moloney will return for the clash after spending three weeks on the sideline with a hamstring injury.

Moloney’s inclusion is a big boost for the Lions who must win to keep their chance of a finals berth alive.

Joining Moloney in the squad is Jordan Lisle and Sam Michael, who have both been recalled to the senior side after impressing in the NEAFL.

The Lions will be without key big man Daniel Merrett, who suffered a fractured ankle during last weekend’s win over the Bulldogs.

Sam Docherty and Marco Paparone have both been omitted.

The Lions take on Geelong this Saturday at 2.10pm at Simonds Stadium, in their final home-and-away match for the season.
