Brisbane Lions have partnered with Epic Good Foundation and Outside the Locker Room (OTLR) to offer quality mental health education and support to Queensland community sporting clubs and schools.

OTLR is a registered charity founded by ex-AFL player Jake Edwards. They work with players and students across the country to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

With the generous support of Epic Good Foundation, Brisbane Lions and OTLR will be offering programs at a vastly reduced rate for 3 years, until June 2023. This reflects the long term vision of all three organisations to improve the mental health and wellbeing of local communities.

Through this partnership, participating clubs and schools will receive 2 mental health education sessions and 12 months of dedicated support from OTLR’s welfare team. This includes access to OTLR’s unique mobile app.

This offer is available to clubs and schools within the Brisbane Lions zone, which includes Brisbane, Ipswich, Darling Downs, Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay area.

Notice: COVID-19

Due to COVID-19, the team at Outside the Locker Room are also offering online sessions for sporting clubs and schools.

Considering the particularly devastating effect of COVID-19 on our sporting community, we have adapted the first phase of this partnership to ensure 20 clubs can immediately receive OTLR’s mental health support, including access to their unique mobile app and dedicated welfare team.
