Cross code athlete Lulu Pullar will be roaring with the Lions come Saturday.

The former Brisbane Roar talent will make her AFLW debut against Collingwood after being named in AFLW Head Coach Craig Starcevich’s best 21.

The 23-year-old has been on the cusp of breaking into the competitive Brisbane side for several weeks, having served as an emergency for the past three rounds.

A natural running talent, Pullar turned heads from her very first session as a Lion, blitzing the field in the annual 2km time trial.

Her debut adds to her already impressive resume, with the talented athlete also a full-time Bond University medicine student and a former W-League soccer player.

Tall forward Taylor Smith will make her return to the Lions forward-line after being sidelined with an ankle sprain acquired in Round 3’s clash against Carlton.

While Ruby Svarc has also been recalled into the side, after the loss of young talent Gabby Collingwood to a season-ending ACL injury.

Svarc made her debut earlier this season in Round 2, putting forward a solid first performance.

Sharni Webb and Jess Wuetschner have been omitted.

The Lions take on Collingwood on Saturday afternoon at Maroochydore with tickets available at lions.com.au/tickets or catch all the action live on 7mate in Queensland, Kayo and Fox Footy from 4.10pm.
