The Brisbane Lions are saddened to hear of the passing of former Fitzroy player, Les Russell.
Russell passed away on New Year's Day aged 82.
He played a total of seven games in two separate stints with Fitzroy - in 1959 and 1961 and wore both the #26 and #34 Guernsey.
The Club extend their deepest condolences to Les' family and friends.
