Billy Longer, Rohan Bewick, Daniel Merrett, Jonathan Brown and Aaron Cornelius were all charged by the AFL's Match Review Panel for engaging in the melee, and can each accept a $1,200 sanction with an early guilty plea.
A first offence for being engaged in a melee is a $1,600 sanction, however an early plea reduces the penalty by 25% to a $1200 sanction.
Six North Melbourne players have also been cited, with Kangaroos defender Luke Delaney facing further fines for instigating the melee.
The Lions will have until lunchtime on Tuesday to decide whether to accept or contest their charges.
