The Brisbane Lions have made five changes for their VFL match up with the Box Hill Hawks on Saturday.

The Lions will come into the clash rested after the bye last weekend, with their last outing, a 35-point win over the Frankston Dolphins.

Noah Answerth returns from concussion with Callum Ah Chee included after a quad complaint kept him out of the Lions win over Frankston.

Captain Ryan Lester also returns to the VFL side to bolster the Lions backline.

While dashing defender Keidean Coleman will also make his first appearance in the VFL for 2023 after dropping back from the AFL.

Tom Fullarton who travelled with the AFL side in the Lions last match, will line-up in the forward line, looking to build on his impressive VFL form.

The game will be played at Box Hill Oval with the first bounce at 12:05pm AEST.
