Brisbane Lions Vice-Captain Hugh McCluggage is available for selection for Friday night’s match against St Kilda after being cleared under concussion protocols.
The midfielder, who missed last week’s win over Sydney after suffering concussion in Round 13, is expected to travel to Melbourne to help the Lions secure back-to-back wins.
In further good news for Brisbane, defender Jack Payne is right to play against the Saints after he trained on Tuesday and proved he had recovered from a rolled ankle on Friday night.
Fellow defender Darcy Gardiner is also available for selection after one week on the sidelines with a quad injury, while the Club will further assess former captain Dayne Zorko (calf tightness) before making a final decision on his return.
