The Brisbane Lions will be buoyed by the return of vice-captain Hugh McCluggage to the team to face St Kilda at Marvel Stadium tomorrow night for Round 15.

The midfield cog has been cleared under concussion protocols sustained in the Round 13 game against Hawthorn.

Young guns Jaspa Fletcher, Kai Lohmann and Deven Robertson all retain their spots, injecting youth and speed to Chris Fagan’s 22, alongside Darcy Wilmot who was this week named as the AFL Rising Star nominee.

Ruckman Darcy Fort has been omitted, as has last week’s sub Callum Ah Chee. Both have been named as emergencies together with James Madden and Darragh Joyce.

Former skipper Dayne Zorko will remain on the sidelines for a third successive match as he recovers from a calf injury.

The Friday night clash marks the third annual Spud’s Game: A Match for Mental Health which the Lions are proud to be involved in.

Brisbane fans can follow along with all of the action on our Lions social channels. Bounce is at 7:50pm.
