The Brisbane Lions are proud to introduce their new clash guernsey for the 2023 NAB AFLW season.
With a Brisbane Bears inspired design, the guernsey will honour the Club’s entire merged history.
The guernsey, created with the help of the Club’s apparel partner Cotton On, will be worn for all away games in 2023.
This decision was made following the AFL’s announcement of the uniform policy change in December 2022, deeming that white shorts will no longer be part of the on-field uniform.
While the Club remains committed to honouring our Fitzroy heritage, the red and blue without the white shorts was a clash with other club's home guernseys.
The Lions will then wear their traditional maroon, blue and gold guernsey for all home games.
Lily Postlethwaite proudly unveiled the clash guernsey at the Brisbane Lions new den, Brighton Homes Arena.
The 2023 AFLW Clash Guernsey is now available online and in-store at the Lions Shop Brighton Homes Arena and the Gabba.
