Brisbane Lions membership packages are now on sale with fans being urged to take their place in the pride ahead of season 2024.
Following a record membership result in 2023, which saw 26% growth in the membership base, Brisbane Lions Chief Executive Officer, Greg Swann said there was already much anticipation about the year ahead.
“This past 12 months has seen both our women’s and men’s teams make the Grand Final, we moved into Brighton Homes Arena and hosted a Grand Final at the venue,” he said.
“The men’s team were undefeated at the Gabba in 2023 finishing the season with seven sell outs, and the girls are in the mix challenging for another top four finish in the AFLW.
“Membership remains the financial backbone of our football club and to finish the season with 54,676 Brisbane Lions Members, one of the biggest memberships of any Queensland sporting club, was a terrific result and we thank all our members for coming on the journey with us.
“However, after coming so close in both competitions, we all feel there is some unfinished business ahead of us.”
Swann said the vocal support of fans and members through the finals campaign was terrific and he wanted to see this crowd support continue at the Gabba in season 2024.
“There were some magical moments at the Gabba this year and we want to share this with as many people as possible so we have a range of memberships available to suit all budgets and lifestyles.
