The Brisbane Lions have made three changes to its team to face Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Sunday as they look to record their first win of the 2024 season.

Irishman, Conor McKenna will make his return, with the defender named in Brisbane’s team to tackle the Dockers on St Patrick's Day.

Western Australian local Deven Robertson and utility Noah Answerth have been included for their first outings of 2024.

Answerth will play his first game for the Lions since Round 9, 2023 after battling injury throughout last season.

Key defender Jack Payne has been omitted following the Lions loss to Carlton in Opening Round.

The Lions have confirmed co-captain Lachie Neale will not face the Dockers due to hamstring tightness.

Neale will benefit from having extra time to freshen up his body with the Lions having the bye next week before the midfielder returns to take on Collingwood in the Easter Thursday blockbuster.

Keidean Coleman is the other confirmed out for the Lions after the defender ruptured his ACL in last week’s Opening Round match against Carlton.
