Forward-midfielder Zac Bailey has been given the all clear to return for the Brisbane Lions this Sunday when they take on Hawthorn at Marvel Stadium.
Bailey, who has missed the last five matches with an ankle sprain, trained fully on Tuesday to prove he has overcome the injury and is available for selection.
The Lions will now make the decision whether to select Bailey to face the Hawks or give him the extra week leading into the bye next round.
In a further boost for the Lions, Brandon Starcevich (calf) is expected to be available after the bye, with the defender on track to line-up in Round 13 against the Western Bulldogs.
