The Brisbane Lions have received a timely boost on the injury front ahead of Saturday night’s Elimination Final against Carlton at the Gabba.
Defenders Brandon Starcevich (hamstring) and Jack Payne (foot) as well as utility Bruce Reville (fibula) are all available for selection to face the Blues.
Payne and Reville both made their returns in Saturday’s VFL Qualifying Final against Footscray, while Starcevich trained with the AFL team on Saturday.
Senior coach Chris Fagan and the Lions match committee will now have an almost full list to choose from come selection.
Young midfielder James Tunstill will be unavailable for selection after entering concussion protocols following Saturday’s VFL final.
The Brisbane Lions will name their final team on Thursday.
