Brisbane Lions AFLW vice-captain, Nat Grider will return this weekend for the Club’s 100th AFLW game against Richmond.
The Lions will notch their 100th AFLW game as a Club, becoming the first team to do so alongside the Adelaide Crows, who will also play their 100th AFLW game at the same time.
Grider, who missed the Lions win over the Western Bulldogs with concussion, has recovered strongly and will take the field in their Round 7 clash.
Ally Anderson is also set to play her 100th AFLW game, having not missed a single game available through her nine-year career becoming the first player in AFLW history to do so, along with Adelaide Crow, Ebony Marinoff.
Ruby Svarc will play her 50th game in Maroon, Blue and Gold, recruited from Essendon’s VFLW side in 2020 AFLW Draft, the speedy forward has become a mainstay in AFLW senior coach, Craig Starcevich’s line up.
The Lions’ interchange is listed as Rania Crozier, Eleanor Hartill, Evie Long, Neasa Dooley and Shanae Davison.
Dee Heslop, Poppy Boltz and Claudia Wright have been named as the emergencies.
The Lions take on the Tigers at Brighton Homes Arena in Round 7 of the 2025 NAB AFLW Season, with the first bounce from 3:05pm AEST.
