VFL Team Announcement: Zakostelsky returns to take on Port Melbourne

The Brisbane Lions VFL team will be boosted by the inclusion of ruck Zane Zakostelsky for Sunday’s Round 5 clash against Port Melbourne at Brighton Homes Arena.

Zakostelsky returns to the VFL after being a late call up for the Lions at AFL level last weekend and will benefit from further experience at the top level.

He will be joined in the team by forward Fergus McFadyen who has been named to start on a half-forward flank.

The two outs for the Lions are duo Conor McKenna and James Tunstill who have been selected for AFL duties.

Brisbane’s interchange consists of Tahj Abberley, Curtis McCarthy, Kyle Dunkley, Hunter Moore and Isaac Waller.

With Brad McDonald, James Creighton, Charlie Hewitt, Bailey Hahn and Harrison Bridge listed as the emergencies.

Sunday’s match against Port Melbourne is scheduled to start at 10am at Brighton Homes Arena and will be broadcast live on Fox Footy.
