Team Announcement: Lions make three changes for QClash30

The Brisbane Lions have locked in their AFL side that will travel down the M1 to take on the Gold Coast Suns in QClash30 at People First Stadium.

The Lions hope to bounce back with experienced defender Darragh Joyce returning to the team.

Shadeau Brain and James Tunstill have also been rewarded with AFL selection following a string of impressive performances in the VFL.

The duo has been named on the interchange bench and will be joined by Jaspa Fletcher, Conor Mckenna and Noah Answerth.

Going out of the side is Keidan Coleman, who sustained a hamstring injury last weekend, whilst Hugh McCluggage will also miss with a calf complaint following training on Thursday.

Cody Curtin has been omitted though named as one of three emergencies along with Luke Beecken and Sam Marshall.

Saturday’s twilight QClash against the Gold Coast Suns is scheduled for a 5:15pm start and will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo
