The Brisbane Lions have named their VFL side for Friday’s Round 17 clash against the Sydney Swans at Tramway Oval.
The Lions will be bolstered this weekend with Lincoln McCarthy and Oscar Allen named in the side as they continue their push to return to the AFL from injury.
It will be a special occasion for the McCarthy brothers, with both Lincoln and Curtis set to play their first VFL game together on Friday afternoon.
Cooper Hodge returns to the squad following his time playing with the Allies. Tai Hayes and Luke Lloyd will also make their return to the side.
Kyle Dunkley, Hunter Moore, Charlie Offermans, Wyatt Greenaway, Bailey Hahn and Liam Jones have been named as the emergencies.
Round 17 of the Smithy VFL between Lions and the Swans will kick off at 12:35pm. The livestream can be watched on the AFL website.
